What is Zentangle?

The Zentangle Method, created by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts (www.zentangle.com), is a series of steps that will allow anyone to experience the benefits of a relaxed focus while drawing.

It is an easy to learn method for creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns – simple deliberate strokes that build on each other in beautiful, mesmerizing, and surprising ways.

It is the very definition of emergence!

Why Zentangle?

The Zentangle Method allows you to use the right side of your brain to create amazing art while reconnecting with the human experience of putting pen to paper. Unlike typing or using a mouse, your eye is focused on what your hand is doing, not on an electronic screen.

The Zentangle® Method resonates with the deep human urge to create and manipulate patterns. It has been used for stress relief, physical & emotional therapies, pain management, team building, anxiety relief, and improved focus and self-esteem.

Zentangle is portable, non-technical, and fun!
